Yarn Yarn Yarn – What should I choose?

A guide to our Yarns

Acrylic

This is a manmade, durable yarn. There is a host of colours available and it gives the traditional look of wool to most items without the associated itchiness that affects some people.

Easy to wash and care for as well as being very affordable this is a popular choice for many of our customers.

Suitable for vegans.

Cotton

A natural fibre that washes well and softens over time. As it is natural it breathes and allows you to be warmer or cooler naturally. With little stretch it is more structured and perfect for kitchen and bathroom products as it is absorbent and strong.

Suitable for Vegans

Baby Alpaca

Responsibly sourced from Peru by a small yarn shop in Yorkshire, this baby alpaca is soft and warm, It is our most luxurious yarn and can be worn next to the skin due to the short fibres used. It is like wearing a hug! It does require more careful washing. We have fewer colour options available but they are all gorgeous.
